Description
A complete 7 page B1 Spanish lesson built around the topic of protección de datos personales, combining grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening and discussion in a professional context.
The central grammar focus is the present subjunctive with conjunctions and expressions referring to future, hypothetical or unrealised actions. Students work with structures including antes de que, a menos que, en cuanto, hasta que, siempre que, a fin de que and tan pronto como, first through contextualised examples and then through a varied sequence of controlled exercises.
The lesson includes exercises on verb formation, translation into Spanish, selecting appropriate conjunctions, choosing the correct verb form and identifying and correcting grammatical errors.
A dedicated listening comprehension activity develops the same grammatical structures through a text about the implementation of a new personal data protection law. Students answer multiple choice, true or false and open comprehension questions.
The second part develops vocabulary and reading comprehension through a text examining data protection in several Latin American countries. Students work with vocabulary in context before moving into comprehension and discussion questions designed to encourage more extended spoken Spanish.
The resource concludes with a complete answer key and listening transcript, making it suitable for both teacher led lessons and independent study.
