Description
A substantial 10 page Spanish B2 lesson designed to develop advanced language through the professional context of la carga de la prueba.
Students begin with a contextualised text and vocabulary work focused on expressions such as acreditar, indicios, carga probatoria, pretensión, desestimar, prosperar, prueba pericial, presunción, rebatir, diligencia and aporte de prueba.
The main grammar focus is Spanish conditional sentences, with clear explanations and examples covering present and future possibilities, hypothetical present or future situations, and past hypotheses with consequences in either the present or the past. Students practise combinations of the indicative, imperfect subjunctive, pluperfect subjunctive, simple conditional and compound conditional.
The lesson includes controlled multiple choice and gap fill exercises followed by reading comprehension. Students then apply the language more freely in an extended guided debate, using conditional structures to discuss a fictional dispute between two companies.
An extensive grammar appendix provides additional reference material on the present subjunctive, imperative, imperfect subjunctive, pluperfect subjunctive, Futuro Imperfecto, simple conditional and compound conditional. Complete answers are included.
