Description
De trámites is a complete A1 Spanish lesson designed around practical everyday and professional situations.
Students begin with vocabulary for common establishments, including the bank, supermarket, airport, court, gym and restaurant, and learn to associate these places with everyday and professional activities.
The lesson then develops the language needed to organise a professional schedule. Students practise telling the time, vocabulary for meetings and professional activities, and tener que while working with the agenda of the director of a fictional law firm.
A reading and map activity introduces expressions of place through an email about professional appointments in Madrid. Students interpret expressions including junto a, enfrente de and cerca de to locate destinations on the map.
The second part of the lesson moves into the workplace. Through descriptions of desks, offices and the fictional law firm Pérez y Martínez, students practise hay, ser and estar together with expressions such as a la derecha de, a la izquierda de, detrás de, delante de, enfrente de, entre, encima de and debajo de.
The resource finishes with further listening practice, a description of the Pérez y Martínez offices, complete answers and listening transcripts, making it suitable both for teacher led lessons and independent revision.
