Description

Develop advanced Spanish through the professional context of judicial notifications with this focused C1 Spanish lesson.

The lesson begins with vocabulary work on 15 terms and expressions used throughout the material, including providencia, dar traslado, tener la carga de, aportar, surtir, días hábiles, correr los términos, acuse de recibo, cómputo de términos, bajo juramento, ejercer and actuaciones.

Students then complete a listening comprehension activity based on a presentation by two lawyers discussing judicial notifications and electronic communications. The task requires students to identify whether each statement corresponds to Voz 1, Voz 2 or ninguno de los dos, encouraging careful listening and discrimination of detailed information.

A full transcript is provided so students can return to the language after listening, analyse vocabulary and expressions in context, and consolidate their understanding. Complete answers are also included.

The material is designed for Spanish language learning through a legal and professional context. It is not intended to teach law or provide legal, legislative or professional advice.
