Rutina diaria en el ámbito jurídico is a complete A1 Spanish lesson designed to introduce essential language for daily routines while gradually incorporating vocabulary from legal and professional contexts.
Students begin with a reading about the daily routine of Señor García. The text introduces everyday actions, times of day and common reflexive verbs before students answer a substantial set of comprehension questions.
The lesson then develops listening comprehension through the daily routine of Ana. Students listen and complete a gap fill activity using verbs including despertarse, levantarse, ducharse, vestirse, desayunar, peinarse, ir, coger, empezar, almorzar, leer, salir, pasear, ver and acostarse. A complete transcription is provided.
The professional element is introduced through a substantial information gap speaking activity. Students ask and answer questions using ¿Con qué frecuencia…? while working with activities from the legal and professional world, including interponer demandas, reunirse con clientes, asistir a audiencias, negociar acuerdos, leer regulaciones, consultar con expertos, asesorar a empresas, buscar jurisprudencia, analizar demandas and contestar demandas.
Two complementary versions, Estudiante 1 and Estudiante 2, encourage students to communicate with each other to obtain the missing information rather than simply completing a written exercise.
The lesson also contains extensive present tense reference tables covering regular, irregular and reflexive verbs useful for talking about everyday life and professional routines.
Complete answers are included at the end of the resource, making the material suitable for teacher led lessons as well as revision and independent study.
