Description

Dar consejos is a complete five page B2 Spanish lesson designed to practise the imperative in professional contexts, combining grammar with vocabulary from law, business and finance.

Students begin by transforming practical advice about contracts, client data, consent, invoices and business documentation into the imperativo de usted. This provides controlled practice of formal instructions and recommendations while introducing useful professional vocabulary.

The second activity moves to the imperativo de tú through a substantial text offering practical advice for lawyers. Students work with affirmative and negative forms and a wide range of common and irregular verbs, including ser, decir, saber, hacer, mantener, repetir, exigir and reflexive forms such as especializarse, disciplinarse and tomarse.

A third extended activity changes context from law to finance and investment. Students transform infinitives into the imperativo de ustedes while working with vocabulary connected with the stock market, investment, risk, companies, economic information, commissions and financial decision making.

The lesson also contains a detailed grammar reference page covering affirmative and negative imperative formation, reflexive pronoun placement, the present subjunctive, vowel changes, spelling changes and frequently used irregular verbs.

A complete answer key is included for all three activities, making the resource suitable for teacher led lessons and independent study.

The professional subject matter provides the context for learning Spanish. The resource is intended exclusively for Spanish language learning and does not provide legal, financial, business or other professional advice.
