Description
Derecho a la intimidad is a complete Spanish lesson for B1 learners built around the highly relevant subjects of privacy, personal data, consent and the use of images.
Students work with an accessible text about a dispute involving photographs of a minor published by a school. From this context, they develop useful general and professional Spanish while practising reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar and oral communication.
The lesson includes eight structured activities, progressing from comprehension of the main text to vocabulary development, formal Spanish grammar, synonyms, collocations, detailed reading comprehension and reformulation.
The final section introduces a listening and speaking activity based on five short statements from the fictional Consentimiento Revocado. Students listen, react to different viewpoints and discuss questions relating to consent, privacy and personal images.
